Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing, with footwear experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to interact effectively with others
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to engage with multiple stakeholders at a high level
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams with confidence, while fostering mastery of fundamental principles
  • Robust engineering background with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective team player with clear communication skills and leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Standardize and ensure consistent metrics at factory sites, review data, identify opportunities, and validate partner plans and solutions to deliver improvements
  • Assess overall process effectiveness/changes, and support implementation and proliferation of digital systems and tools to improve manufacturing effectiveness and performance
  • Collaborate with Consumer Creation, Manufacturing Partners, and Manufacturing Systems Engineering teams to drive effective activation of advanced manufacturing capabilities
  • Ensure Nike standards are met throughout commercialization and provide inputs to resolve issues
  • Connect manufacturing with Consumer Creation to ensure manufacturability and process efficiency is addressed at factory sites
  • Drive franchise model Calibration, Standardization, and Optimization initiatives across manufacturing sites
  • Partner with Manufacturing Systems Engineering and factory teams to scale foundational elements of Quality Management System (QMS), use real-time data to validate effectiveness of factory QMS, identify and close gaps in factory QMS
  • Assess and support new facility ramp-up optimization and engineering readiness
  • Support efforts to grow capacity within existing footprint and facilitate training to ensure comprehension of Nike Manufacturing Best Practices
  • Drive operational improvements, ensure product and process excellence, and support sustainable growth across Nike’s Manufacturing Partners
