Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, and have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and FDA regulations is essential, along with experience in process improvement and equipment troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, optimize existing processes, and ensure that production goals are met. They will monitor equipment performance, correct equipment problems, and interface with Quality and Research and Development organizations to integrate new products or processes. This role involves initiating and completing technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes, conducting Process FMEAs and Process Validations, providing guidance to engineers and technicians, and improving product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput through Lean manufacturing concepts.
