Requirements

5+ years of experience in Manual Test Engineering
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands-on experience with tools like Aqua/other Test Management tool and Jira
Proven background in manual testing of web-based applications, covering both front-end and back-end functionalities
Strong hands-on expertise in load and performance testing, preferably using Apache JMeter
Solid understanding of API testing, including RESTful and SOAP services, using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Collaborate and Define Requirements: Work closely with product managers, software engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and provide input on user stories and testing task estimates
Streamline Test Documentation and Test Case Management: Create, organize, and manage test cases in a dedicated test management tool to ensure comprehensive coverage, traceability, and alignment with project objectives
Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans, including various testing types such as System, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, and API testing
Defect Analysis and Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis on defects, collaborate with development teams for swift resolution and ensure adherence to quality standards
Documentation and Reporting: Create test reports, release notes, and manage UAT activities to support various stages of the QA process
