Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing
LibreOffice testing experience required
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes
Knowledge and experience of Linux
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (additional skill)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus (e.g., Cypress, Cppunit) (additional skill)
Experience working in an open source environment is a plus (additional skill)

Responsibilities

Find a cause of the issue and test to check the fix works in a complex environment involving multi-tier web applications
Perform functional, regression and performance testing to identify and report defects or inconsistencies in product functionality
Collaborate with product development and project management teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects
Document and track test results, issues and resolution efforts to ensure clear communication and visibility of QA activities
Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions
Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of quality assurance standards and best practices within the organization
Willingness to take part in meetings
