Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least six years of professional software engineering experience, including at least one year of experience with cloud computing and at least four years of people management experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, nine or more years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js, and three or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Back End, the individual will lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers, creating solutions that meet regulatory needs and drive powerful customer experiences. They will share their passion for technology trends, experiment with new technologies, mentor the engineering community, and collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL, as well as container orchestration services and AWS tools.
