Requirements

  • Leadership experience in driving quality functions (Customer Quality, In Process Quality, Supplier Quality, Systems and Process Improvement)
  • Expertise in defining and deploying quality vision, policy, and objectives aligned to business and customer goals
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems compliant with IATF 16949, ISO, and customer-specific requirements
  • Proficiency in APQP activities (DFMEA/PFMEA review, control plans, MSA, SPC, capability studies)
  • Experience with PPAP submission packages and validation (dimensional, material, performance, process)
  • Skills in structured problem solving (8D, root cause analysis, CAPA)
  • Ability to monitor KPIs (PPM, rejection, rework, warranty cost, COPQ, audit scores)
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, lean initiatives)
  • Experience in supplier quality management (PPAP approval, audits, development)
  • Strong people development and mentoring skills for quality teams, including training on IATF core tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality organization (QA, QC, SQA, warranty, systems) and foster a problem-solving, data-driven culture
  • Establish, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System compliant with IATF 16949, ISO, and customer requirements
  • Ensure successful internal/external audits and close nonconformities with robust CAPA
  • Oversee APQP activities for new parts and engineering changes
  • Approve PPAP/submission packages to OEMs
  • Monitor in-process quality performance and ensure effective manufacturing controls
  • Lead structured problem solving for internal rejections, field failures, and customer complaints
  • Act as primary quality interface with OEMs for audits, complaints, approvals, and scorecards
  • Drive warranty reduction and field performance improvement through analysis and cross-functional plans
  • Oversee supplier quality performance, development, and qualification with sourcing/engineering
  • Define and track key quality KPIs
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives to reduce defects, variation, and COPQ
  • Build and mentor a high-performing quality team with relevant training
