Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of financial services experience with a mutual fund operation, custodian bank or asset manager with a focus on legal and financial regulatory reporting
Strong understanding of regulatory and financial reporting requirements for SEC-registered investment companies
Understanding of risk frameworks and ability to design and lead processes ensuring a strong control environment
Focus on innovation – ability to identify and drive forward ways to improve and automate current processes
Ability to work with all levels of management and make high impact decisions quickly and accurately
Knowledge of workflows and requirements of internal and external business partners and systems applications
Ability to help define and understand the impact of initiatives to the production environment to anticipate and coordinate operational readiness
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation capability
Ability to work within a team and under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Deliver accurate and time-sensitive financial and regulatory reports and filings required for shareholders and regulators
Participate in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements
Coach and mentor staff to achieve high-quality results and adhere to process controls to proactively mitigate risk
