Requirements

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in field engineering or a related technical sales support role. A strong understanding of the Observability ecosystem and experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams is essential. Proven ability to partner with sales leadership and influence product roadmaps based on field feedback is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Field Engineering will be responsible for building, managing, and mentoring a team of Field Engineers across EMEA. This role involves overseeing global go-to-market execution, coaching team members, and collaborating with Solutions Engineering to maintain demo environments. The manager will also work with marketing on top-of-funnel programs, partner with Product Management and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met, and drive the adoption of Grafana technologies by developing programs and collateral for key customers. Additionally, the role includes owning and reporting on team performance, conducting customer evaluations through demonstrations and technical validation, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
