Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and communication of Walmart’s pricing strategies across all business units in partnership with the Price Activation and Execution team
  • Coach a team of price strategy managers conducting category revenue growth management initiatives across pricing, promotions, trade investment, and channel strategy
  • Drive profitable growth through the EDLP Category Conversion program for Walmart Canada and ensure timely delivery and tracking of all projects
  • Manage engagements with DMMs, merchants, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing and promotional strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations
  • Guide the team in building proof of concepts, performing data analysis, developing analytical models, and recommending strategies
  • Manage program processes, timelines, and status reporting to executives
  • Support stakeholders with portfolio insights and forecasts; own communication channels by defining scope, requirements, and success metrics; perform analysis and translate data into implications
  • Drive price leadership by ensuring best-in-class analytic frameworks, models, and processes; calibrate standards and guardrails for pricing and promotions
  • Control and publish pricing and promotional metrics, scorecards, and competitive insights; prepare and present detailed reports to senior leadership
  • Inform Product Strategy and Data Science teams on business requirements for product roadmaps and feature enhancements; participate in UAT testing for pricing tools
  • Leverage partnerships with US and international teams to share best practices; act as subject matter expert in Walmart Canada and build knowledge across business areas
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects, drive meetings to align on tasks and ownership, and ensure timely delivery
