Requirements

  • Reside in Spain and have a work permit in Spain
  • Recognized experience in Electric/Gas Utilities or Oil & Gas, with hands-on knowledge of at least one domain (Renewables, Networks, Retail, Planning, E&C, O&M, Trading, Customer operations)
  • Strong understanding of the Asset Management lifecycle (investment planning, maintenance strategies, reliability, asset performance) and/or customer lifecycle
  • Proven track record identifying high-value AI opportunities to transform business processes, estimating business impact, and shaping end-to-end transformation roadmaps that blend AI, automation and change management
  • Ability to craft operating model blueprints encompassing talent, processes, Responsible AI governance and technology foundations
  • Experience inspiring and coaching cross-functional client and Accenture teams, bringing clarity, momentum and measurable outcomes to complex programmes
  • Understanding, knowledge and/or experience in several of: Development of AI products and solutions using Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI, and deploying them into production; Strategic transformation of Data Architecture: modern data platforms tailored to OT + IT convergence; AI Architecture & Agentic Frameworks; Data Management / Provisioning: governance, quality, master/metadata management and secure provisioning across cloud and edge; Data & AI Strategy: defining business value cases and building blocks for enterprise-wide transformation (operating model, tech stack, Responsible AI, change enablement)
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s or MBA degree
  • Proficient in Spanish and English (written and oral)
  • Minimum of 6 years working in Data & AI or related business transformation
  • Minimum of 10 years in strategy or management consulting
  • Exceptional presentation skills – ability to convey technology and business value propositions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity and curiosity

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver enterprise-scale Data & AI strategies and products for electricity, gas and energy companies
  • Develop executive relationships, guide multidisciplinary teams and steer programmes from vision through value realisation
  • Combine deep industry insight, cutting-edge Gen AI, and Accenture’s global assets to reimagine core energy business processes along the full value chain, from planning and engineering to customer engagement
  • Translate energy sector challenges (e.g. decarbonisation, grid flexibility, TOTEX optimisation) into Data & AI-backed strategies aligned with business KPIs
