Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations, receiving, and materials management in a CGMP environment (inferred from role context)
  • Direct people management experience overseeing teams of material handlers
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations, including raw material receipt, put-away, replenishment, and destruction
  • Ability to conduct investigations, root cause analyses, and manage corrective actions
  • Expertise in managing Area Quality Systems, compliance, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
  • Strong leadership skills for coaching, counseling, resource allocation, and shift scheduling

  • Preferred: Certification in CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage team member resource allocation & shift schedules to meet workflow demands
  • Coach and counsel team members to develop skill sets and foster continuous learning, teamwork, transparency, and urgency
  • Communicate with cross-functional leaders to drive successful outcomes for the site and business unit
  • Maintain and communicate performance metrics, setting high expectations for team performance
  • Manage raw material/consumable receipt, labeling, & storage
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses on supply disruptions or material quality issues, and report on corrective actions
  • Oversee shipment of materials to offsite locations (e.g., network warehouses, offsite storage, QC labs)
  • Develop & maintain metrics; serve as process owner and SME to remove barriers and solve problems
  • Ensure a safe work environment and promote safety training; foster compliance and EHS culture
  • Manage Site Supply Chain SOPs; own deviations, CAPAs, & change controls
  • Ensure appropriate training and qualification for staff activities
  • Promote continuous improvement, problem-solving, and prevention; participate in/lead cross-functional initiatives
