Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressively advancing experience in accounting, along with 5+ years of management experience. They should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree, and demonstrate knowledge of US GAAP, with familiarity of European accounting rules being a plus. Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities are also required.
The Senior Manager, Accounting will lead and review the global monthly close and consolidation process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting. They will develop and implement accounting best practices, initiate improvements to the internal control environment, and mentor an accounting team in Europe while assisting with a Business Process Outsourcing team. Furthermore, they will collaborate with business partners to enhance financial information efficiency and support relationships with advisory teams on compliance audits and reporting.
