Position Overview

The Advanced Technology Group (ATG) at ServiceNow is a customer-focused innovation group dedicated to building intelligent software and smart user experiences. We leverage existing and cutting-edge advanced technologies to create industry-leading, end-to-end work experiences for our customers. Our team comprises researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers with a dual mission: to build and evolve our AI platform, and to partner with other teams to develop products and AI-powered work experiences. We also focus on researching, experimenting, and de-risking AI technologies to unlock future work experiences.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions designed to transform user experiences and enhance workflow efficiency within enterprise services. We aim to move beyond traditional analytical tools that require technical expertise, enabling any user, regardless of their technical background, to leverage our AI/ML solutions for thoughtful and scalable enterprise operations. We are in the early stages with our early-adopter customers and need your expertise to build and deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions to our global customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Build best-in-class cloud-based AI/ML solutions to power intelligent enterprise services.
  • Collaborate daily with a team of like-minded developers, product managers, and quality engineers to produce high-quality software.
  • Partner with product owners to understand detailed requirements.
  • Own your code from design, implementation, and testing through to the delivery of high-quality solutions to our users.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Typically requires a minimum of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Expertise in Java or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and time/space-efficient algorithms.
  • Proven experience building new products that incorporate challenging algorithms.
  • Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized, and quality software.
  • Knowledge of core AI/ML techniques and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, profiling, and code tuning.

Compensation and Benefits

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay range of $158,500 - $269,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and comprehensive benefits. Sales positions typically include a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.

  • Base pay is a guideline; total compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

  • Compensation is determined by geographic location and is subject to change based on work location.
