Requirements

Candidates must be either Vietnamese citizens or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam, and must be located in Vietnam or Anywhere in Vietnam, remote. Applicants from other countries will not be considered. The role requires fluency in English for communication with international teams, strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities. Candidates should possess proficiency in Java with extensive experience in back-end and API development, familiarity with the Java ecosystem, skills in business modeling, unit testing, and integration testing, solid knowledge of data structures, programming skills, and clean coding practices. They must be comfortable with Docker, AWS S3, RDS, and related frameworks, proficient in common Git commands and workflows, and ideally have prior remote work experience and the ability to work during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm and 5 am Vietnam Time) or a 5-hour overlap.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for back-end and API development, ensuring efficient task completion through daily communication and prompt responses with the team. You will also be expected to contribute to business modeling, perform unit and integration testing, and maintain clean coding practices. Furthermore, you will utilize Docker, AWS S3, RDS, and related frameworks, manage Git workflows, and collaborate effectively with international teams, particularly the US team, while adhering to the company’s remote working culture and policies.
