Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS or equivalent work experience
10 years or more of experience in IT or a similar technology field
Extensive experience and proven track record in building, scaling, supporting, and improving enterprise network systems and services
Unquestionable integrity in handling confidential information
Strong communications skills: distil the right info to the right audience, drive changes
Analytics skills: identify and solve problems based on data
Process management: document and continuous improvement, business impacts, user experience, change management
Flexible with and accepting of change
Deep knowledge of IT network technology, insights, and market trends
Keep up-to-date on security risks and vulnerabilities of responsible IT tools and options to mitigate them
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT technologies and trends; propose new solutions

Responsibilities

Plans, designs, builds, and continuously improves an always-on, secure, and efficient IT network service
Drives engagement with stakeholders (e.g., Security and Workplace teams) to scale and improve IT network service
Resolves all network problems
Manages the reduction of technical debt within current platforms
Manages IT network vendors
Purchases and manages IT network hardware and software
Creates policies, standard operating procedures, and uses quantitative and qualitative analysis to improve them continuously
Ensures policies, procedures, and operations comply with committed security standards
Participates in 3rd party and client IT audits
Improves productivity, cost efficiency, asset utilisation, and streamlines processes
Manages IT network projects from plan to completion
Manages the overall architecture of the platform landscape and the service-level agreement
