Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing IT/Cybersecurity teams, particularly India-based teams

  • Expertise in information security governance, standards, best practices, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Proficiency in security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, threat intelligence)
  • Skills in data analytics, dashboards, metrics, KPIs, and reporting for security performance
  • Knowledge of core cybersecurity functions (e.g., risk assessments, third-party risk, compliance, audits, contract reviews)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills (with CISO, leadership, OUs, ITLT, Privacy, Product Security, HR, Legal)
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, MSSPs, and evaluating new technologies
  • Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations to the CISO on information security standards and best practices for IT projects
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the India-based cybersecurity team for high performance, skill development, and collaboration
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of Global Cyber & Information Security (GCISO) team members
  • Ensure effective communication and ways of working between the India GCISO team and global stakeholders
  • Manage the team's workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Assist the CISO in overseeing and managing the effectiveness of the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
  • Work with finance to assess roadmap and strategy against budget
  • Assist in developing leadership & board communications on the cyber program
  • Manage data analytics/dashboarding of metrics reporting
  • Analyze security metrics and KPIs to assess operations team performance and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with global cybersecurity leadership to align India operations with overall strategy and goals
  • Provide regular reporting on security operations, incident trends, and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Contribute to developing security policies, procedures, and guidelines for global consistency
  • Align and engage with stakeholders (MDT leadership, OUs, ITLT, Privacy, Product Security, HR, Legal) on GCISO initiatives
  • Manage staff to improve security operations, incident management processes, and response times
  • Utilize security tools and platforms to enhance monitoring and analysis effectiveness
  • Manage staff to execute core cybersecurity functions (e.g., risk assessments, third-party risk, compliance, audits, contract reviews, tool administration, AI-enabled processes)
  • Collaborate with teams like vulnerability management and risk assessment for comprehensive security
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and MSSPs for security tools and services
  • Evaluate new security technologies and tools to enhance capabilities
  • Ensure strict standards of confidentiality and high integrity across teams
