Responsibilities

  • Join the Japan Growth team as the first mobile engineer
  • Collaborate with Mobile Core squad and product squads/stakeholders to launch the app in Japan, including support for Japanese languages, addresses, payment methods (PayPay, Konbini), etc
  • Adapt the app (especially Home, Navigation, and Product Pages) to resonate with Japanese customers and build trust
  • Use experience to recommend necessary app adaptations
  • Long-term: Collaborate with local Tokyo office members to build features for Japanese customers to enhance app usage for refurbished devices
