Requirements

  • Experience with connecting data sources to Glean
  • Strong background in integration lifecycle management (design, implementation, monitoring, continuous improvement)
  • Proficiency in APIs/SDKs, webhooks, and ingestion pipelines
  • Experience with authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, service principals, app registrations)
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy controls, and regulated data handling
  • Experience with change management and documentation
  • Hands-on experience implementing and operating Model Context Protocol (MCP) solutions
  • Proficiency with Python or Node.js
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS APIs (e.g., Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira/Confluence, Salesforce, Freshservice, GitLab, Zoom, Gong)
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, permission mirroring, and context propagation

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Glean connectors across core SaaS tools
  • Build and maintain integrations using native Glean connectors and custom solutions
  • Define schemas, mappings, permissions models, and crawl schedules
  • Ensure robust authN/authZ patterns and secure secrets management
  • Instrument and monitor connector health and SLAs
  • Partner with Infosec, Legal, and People Team on data governance
  • Improve search quality through content normalization and relevance tuning
  • Lead change management for integration rollouts
  • Create clear and durable documentation
  • Design and develop MCP servers and integrate with MCP-compatible clients
  • Design MCP tools that wrap enterprise SaaS APIs
  • Implement strong authentication/authorization for MCP
  • Map enterprise RBAC/least privilege to MCP tools/resources
  • Enforce caller identity and data access boundaries end-to-end
