Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no employment visa sponsorship)
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Typically 5+ years managing private and public cloud infrastructure (preferred)
Proven history building automated solutions that enable rapid deployment and increased scalability (preferred)
Capability to analyze packet captures using tools such as Wireshark (preferred)
Public Cloud experience: Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (preferred)
Experience using a variety of open source technologies and cloud services including: Kubernetes platforms, Docker, Spacelift; Infrastructure/Configuration as code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible; Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux); Hypervisor Operating Systems (VMware and other alternatives); Backup applications such as Veeam (preferred)
Experience working with Dell PowerMax, NetApp, Pure Storage, and Cloudian (preferred)
Solid understanding of FC, iSCSI, and S3 storage protocols (preferred)
Familiar with Active Directory and automating Active Directory management (preferred)
Strong Scripting Knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) (preferred)
Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, FTP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, XML, YAML (preferred)
Familiarity with monitoring services such as Elastic, PRTG, LibreNMS, Virtana, and Dynatrace (preferred)
Experience reading, evaluating, and applying security remediations (preferred)
Familiar with OpsGenie or other escalation management systems (preferred)
Familiar with Pager Duty Process Automation (preferred)
Experience tracking work in ServiceNow, Jira, or other similar systems (preferred)
The ability to develop project plans and create individual tasks from a project plan (preferred)

Responsibilities

Contribute to transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture as a member of the Core Infrastructure team reporting to the Core Infrastructure Manager
Support infrastructure both in private and public cloud data centers
Help improve the reliability and delivery of the product through the use of automation and auto remediation
Ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and sustainable manner, guided by experience with a well-maintained environment
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
