Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering, along with 5-10 years or more of experience in Power Generation, Distribution, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and/or Industrial engineering environments. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
Senior Engineers are expected to lead projects and project teams, managing project man-hour budgets and scheduling of department man-hours. They will supervise and monitor project staff to ensure engineering packages are completed on time and within budget, analyze and design engineering packages for clients, prepare instrumentation specifications for purchase, establish and maintain business relationships with key client contacts, review and check design drawings, and ensure that documents produced by the team follow internal and client quality standards. Furthermore, they will be responsible for low to medium voltage power distribution system design, instrumentation identification and installation package development, distributed control system interface design, electrical heat trace design, and development of wiring diagrams and schematics.
