Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a proven track record of implementing complex backend architectures and services. They should have experience designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems, a solid understanding of microservice architecture, and strong knowledge of backend development, relational databases, and engineering best-practices. Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, experience with cloud services such as AWS, and familiarity with containerized applications using Docker are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Golang Engineer will be responsible for designing and building distributed services that are fault-tolerant, scalable, testable, and maintainable, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and technical leads to design and implement features and improvements throughout the platform, optimizing existing services and features for maximum speed and scalability, maintaining and developing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and creating and maintaining technical documentation.
