Candidates must possess at least four years of software development experience, along with four years of experience building and maintaining high-scale cloud infrastructure. They should have high proficiency in a common backend programming language such as Go, C#, or Java, and demonstrate expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS. Strong working knowledge of Git and Perforce is required, and familiarity with Unreal Engine and its build/automation tooling is considered a significant advantage.
The Senior Game Platform Engineer will drive the development of core game and build infrastructure, build core services supporting game and backend development, manage an expanding fleet of Kubernetes clusters and backend services in the cloud, improve and maintain game build tools such as Unreal Horde, Perforce, and Unreal Game Sync, and evolve the game and company's release process. They will also maintain and enhance platform and game observability tools, including Datadog and Sentry.
