Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of professional game design experience in mobile free-to-play games, with at least one shipped Match-3 or top puzzle mobile title with proven success. Strong knowledge of F2P mechanics, hybrid monetization strategies, meta systems, live ops, long-term engagement loops, and economy balancing is required. Proficiency in clear design documentation and comfort with data-driven decision-making and AB testing are essential, along with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. A degree in game design, computer science, or a related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Game Designer will push the game to the next level in meta design, gameplay features, and player engagement by designing new gameplay features, core loops, and meta systems to drive long-term engagement and monetization. Responsibilities include creating detailed design documents, user flows, and economy models, proposing AB test ideas, and iterating based on player data and feedback. The role involves working with level designers to enhance puzzle mechanics and moment-to-moment gameplay, ensuring a satisfying and accessible experience. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, and artists to deliver features from concept to live release is key, as is analyzing player behavior and KPIs to inform design decisions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement in retention, engagement, and IAP monetization.
