Proficiency in Python, big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks), Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate, Postgres, HTML, Java, JavaScript, and Kubernetes is essential, along with strong knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems and robust debugging capabilities.
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will develop enterprise-grade applications using Kubernetes/Docker, Quarkus, Java, Angular, and PostgreSQL, and lead GM's transition to cloud technologies by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include automating cloud infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep, leading cost optimization efforts, monitoring cloud environments, and troubleshooting issues. The engineer will proactively identify and remediate software issues related to code quality, pattern mismatch, and security, provide guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers, and navigate complex corporate environments to remove project roadblocks. They will also understand code quality analysis results and remediation, implement various branching strategies, and share this expertise. Additionally, the role involves advanced CI/CD knowledge, including automated builds and deployments with GitHub Actions, documenting software solutions, ensuring technical documentation meets GM standards, and maintaining compliance with GM standards and industry methodologies. The engineer will also lead the team culture, holding themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GM's values and behaviors.
