Requirements

5+ years of experience solving complex technical problems
A history of developing large web applications and REST APIs
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript
Extensive experience with data modeling and optimizing complex database queries against database systems such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and/or Elasticsearch
Proven expertise in system architecture and performance optimization for large-scale systems
Strong familiarity with writing unit and integration tests, as well as knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Take ownership of complex, cross-functional features within the application
Architect and implement scalable and performant new features, with a focus on reliability and maintainability
Write and maintain complex SQL queries
Collaborate closely with the product team to transform feature requests into actionable implementations
Lead code reviews to ensure code quality, setting a high standard for engineering excellence
Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing expertise to elevate the team
Optimize our database systems through performance analysis and scalability planning
