Requirements

Candidates should possess a technical skill set including Next.js, TypeScript, React/Vue, Node, RTL/Jest, and Jenkins or another CI/CD platform. Proven experience implementing high-performing front-end applications in agile product teams, working closely with product designers for ideation sessions, and a strong understanding of API principles and best practices are required. A keen eye for good UX and DX, a bias for action, strong customer focus, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proven success working with complex problems and ambiguity are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Frontend Engineer will deliver experiences used by thousands of Paddle customers, fine-tune and future-proof existing applications, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive customer-facing developer experience. They will develop new functionality for pricing, billing, and growth, help design a stable platform for growth, and mentor and coach other engineers. The role also involves working with AWS products like Cloudfront and S3, driving best practices and long-term decisions for the front-end engineering community, and shaping the team and wider engineering culture.
