Candidates must have 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices. Expertise with at least one modern frontend framework like React, Angular, or Next.js is required, along with experience building highly-performant and scalable web applications. A strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first approaches, and UX/interaction design is essential. A proactive, can-do attitude, comfort in client-facing consulting, and experience with Design Systems and accessible product development are also required.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will be responsible for creating and delivering beautiful user experiences, building and iterating on software from design to launch. This includes clarifying requirements and UI design with Product and Design teams, collaborating closely with designers on UX polish and interaction quality, and breaking down goals into achievable tasks while following sprint timelines. Proactive communication of progress and challenges, independent and reliable work, and adherence to frontend best practices including efficient component architecture, responsive design, state management, testing, performance, and accessibility optimization are expected. The role also involves implementing meaningful motion and microinteractions.
