Responsibilities

  • Assist the GM Planning & Performance in furthering the reporting framework across the organisation, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial and operational reporting processes
  • Regularly engage with Finance Business Partners to understand departmental needs and facilitate transformational changes to enhance business performance
  • Prepare and analyse periodic financial reports comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts, provide insightful commentary on key drivers of variances and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners and departmental heads to refine and report on performance metrics and budgets, and provide support in identifying and mitigating risks that may impact financial outcomes
  • Provide assistance in the planning and forecasting processes by contributing to the development of financial models, analysing trends, and assisting in scenario analysis to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and finance business partners in setting and reporting on business-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), including support in tracking monthly performance against these objectives to drive alignment and accountability
  • Utilise financial modelling tools, data analysis techniques, and ERP systems to analyse large datasets, interpret trends, and extract actionable insights to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments including Technology, Finance, People & Talent, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to gather relevant data, facilitate communication, and ensure alignment of financial objectives with overall business goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and streamlining of financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivering financial insights and support to the organisation
