Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, including providing commentaries
  • Very strong analytical and MS Excel modeling capabilities to provide deep insights and resolve finance inquiries independently
  • Experience with manipulating large data sets
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
  • Proactive and motivated self-starter with a can-do mentality
  • Curious by nature, striving for continuous improvement
  • Ability to assist other Analysts and Business Controllers with day-to-day operational responsibilities and ad-hoc projects
  • Adaptability to quickly learn and navigate financial systems and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • MS Excel – advanced user
  • Oracle Hyperion products and Smartview – preferable

Responsibilities

  • Develop forward-looking expectations based on actual performance trends, hiring and investment plans, and other business inputs
  • Prepare headcount and cost analysis
  • Enter drivers and updates into forecasting tools
  • Provide insights and commentary on variance analysis
  • Run specific queries and reports
  • Reconcile data
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and support for key stakeholders
  • Calculate and prepare deferral and accruals journals
  • Drive improvement projects across business units to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service
  • Establish and execute internal control policies
  • Support annual audits
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all financial processes
