Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 2+ years)
  • Nice to Have: Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Auditing
  • Nice to Have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Nice to Have: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Nice to Have: Experience with GFS, Essbase, and/or SAP
  • Nice to Have: Good technical accounting/US GAAP knowledge
  • Nice to Have: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers and the proven experience translating financial data into meaningful, concise information

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis and reporting for HR and other Corporate functions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
  • Analyze financial results and variances, providing actionable insights
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business performance
  • Prepare presentations for leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Accounting, finance and business partnering support of the Medtronic Global Functions team
  • Financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and critical thinking in support of Human Resource (HR) partners and others
