Strong contributor to technical strategy and product direction, balancing innovation, ethical AI governance, and business alignment is also required. The candidate should possess skills in evaluating AI/ML trade-offs, mitigating risks, and aligning technical investments with customer needs and product goals, along with a high degree of creativity and passion for responsible AI, with experience driving ethical standards and compliance in AI product development.
This role involves leading the delivery of a high-impact product roadmap in partnership with stakeholders, providing thought leadership on AI/ML technologies, defining and upholding AI governance standards, translating AI concepts into actionable strategies, leading a Data platform team, mentoring manager(s) and staff-level engineers, championing DevOps excellence, driving data literacy, evaluating and scaling emerging technologies, developing and tracking product success metrics, and fostering collaborative team cultures. The Senior Engineering Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, developing, and promoting emerging talent, and thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
