Requirements

Extensive experience in leading engineering functions and a proven track record in strategic engineering and ADAS development
Experience with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Parking & Radar Exposure
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
18+ years of experience with embedded software development and exposure to automotive systems architecture
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong, results-oriented mindset
Working knowledge of AUTOSAR/QNX

Responsibilities

Serve as the top technical expert for ADAS projects, overseeing the system architecture, component design, and integration of complex hardware and software, including sensor technologies like radar, LiDAR, and cameras
Collaborate with Software Program management teams throughout the project lifecycle, from defining initial system specifications to the final, full-scale deployment of ADAS features in production vehicles
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers specializing in ADAS, embedded systems, software development, and algorithm engineers
Oversee the testing and validation of ADAS features, both in simulation and with real-world vehicle testing, to ensure they meet stringent safety, performance, and quality standards
Identify and address potential technical program risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation plans to maintain project timelines and ensure timely software delivery
Ensure all ADAS development processes and products adhere to established industry safety standards, such as ISO 26262 for functional safety
