Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in hydrological/hydraulic analysis (1D, 2D and rain-on-grid), flood risk management, stormwater quality/quantity modelling, stormwater infrastructure design and technical reporting
  • Proven experience using computer software including 12D, TUFLOW, XPRAFTS/WBNM, HEC-RAS, QGIS, MUSIC
  • Ability to motivate and empower the team to perform through leading by example
  • Superior technical knowledge while delivering pragmatic and practical outcomes
  • High level industry awareness and engagement

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of water related impacts – hydrologic, flooding and water quality associated with infrastructure, mining and development projects
  • Undertake conceptual engineering design and investigations of civil and stormwater infrastructure including earthworks, drainage, basins, dam etc
  • Preparation and review of engineering reports, drawings, specifications, bill of quantities and cost estimates
  • Undertake project and client management duties for projects as well as reporting on project milestones
  • Promote the strategic objectives of the Engineering and Design business through the active delivery of projects
