Requirements

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or Equivalent)
Good understanding of mechanical design principles relating to pressure vessels/housings, hydraulic and process systems, as per international standards
Minimum 7-9 years of experience purely into Static pressure vessel design by ASME Codes and Standard
Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms
Ability to multi-task
Fluency in English language
Hands on experience on PVELITE & AutoCAD is a must requirement
(Plus) Minimum 4-5 years' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels/housings products or equivalent
(Plus) Hands on experience on PV Elite software (5 years) and Inventor software

Responsibilities

Produce engineering documentation (on time, to budget, and of suitable quality) to support requests for quotes, customer orders, manufacturing, suppliers, etc. such as drawings, Pressure vessel calculations related to ASME codes and standards, data sheets preparation, and procedures which meets customer specifications, current legislation, and the Pall Quality Management System
Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety, reliability, robustness, and functionality which is easy to manufacture, operate, and maintain
Provide manufacturing support to ensure factories have consistent output, quality, and costs
Perform and check engineering activities to deliver custom and engineered or made to order Mechanical design for customers
Work closely with project team and engineering managers to ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements, project schedule, and budget
Work independently with complex, integrated projects across cross functional teams
Lead engineering projects and initiatives
