Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience, along with 5+ years of technical experience. Demonstrated leadership experience on an IT team is required, as well as a strong technical background encompassing Java, JavaScript, Angular/TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python. Familiarity with methodologies such as TDD, OOP/OOD, Functional Programming, Design Patterns, Lean, and Agile (Scrum, Kanban) is also necessary. Experience with Rest (Micro services) API Economy, Micro Frontends, Cloud – AWS, and frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Jersey/REST, Angular, JUnit, TDD using Cucumber, PyTest, Mock Frameworks — Mockito, and DevOps concepts is expected. Broad knowledge of the financial services industry and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside proficient written and oral communication skills.
As a Senior Engineer, Full Stack, you will guide a team to deliver solutions that drive desired business outcomes by building APIs and micro-frontends within the Wealth Management context. You will work on a Product Ownership team, providing senior-level expertise in developing web applications and applying Site Reliability Engineering practices. Utilizing Continuous Delivery pipelines and AWS technologies, you will develop automated tests for functional, performance, and security testing, employing TDD methodology. You will provide thought leadership at the team and program level, communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, and offer oversight and mentoring to the IT team. Additionally, you will be responsible for learning and experimenting with new technologies, tools, and processes, and contributing to a hybrid working model that supports long-term client outcomes and employee experience.
