Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in FW design, with a specific emphasis for wireless applications, along with experience in Embedded System Security principles and techniques, security by design, and OS hardening. Strong knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as LTE and 5G is required, as well as experience with FPGA and DSP teams for signal processing optimization.
The Senior Embedded Systems Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing FW code for wireless communication systems on JMA HW/FW platforms, collaborating with the systems engineering team to translate system-level requirements into efficient FW implementations. They will also architect and implement FW designs focusing on ensuring optimal performance and resource reuse, develop and execute verification frameworks, and collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and Network Security Engineering teams to integrate FW code into larger wireless systems. Furthermore, the role involves developing FW blocks for wireless protocols, creating detailed documentation, staying abreast of industry trends, and exploring new tools and techniques to enhance FW development processes.
