Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
Six years of experience in mixed signal circuit design involving audio and SoCs
Demonstrated experience with complex mixed signal PCB design and HDI routing
Experienced with audio codecs and audio power amplifiers
Experience implementing digital communication peripherals at a hardware level, such as USB 3.0, 10Gb Ethernet and RS232
Strong familiarity with test equipment such as DMM, bench top supply, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer

Responsibilities

Component selection, schematic capture and PCB design of electrical systems based on an FPGA SoC with associated memory devices, transceivers, communication peripherals, power management circuitry
Design high fidelity mixed signal audio circuitry with excellent noise immunity
Follow good design practices to achieve successful mixed signal PCB design
Define PCB stack up, materials, and design rules to meet performance requirements and manufacturing feasibility
Perform hardware bring-up, test, and root cause analysis on the bench, using common lab equipment
Work with PCB Designers, Software, FPGA, and RF teams for system-level implementation
Ensure designs do not produce EMI and are well isolated in high EMI environments
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor
