Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5 years of relevant industry experience or 8 years of experience without a degree, plus experience with EPlan, AutoCAD or other CAD systems, developing industrial electrical control panels and systems, and a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of electrical certification standards like UL/NFPA and ISO/IEC, strong knowledge of EPlan Electric P8 and/or ProPanel with parts libraries experience, designing for long product lifecycles, and experience with harness assemblies in 3D CAD software such as NX or SolidWorks.
