Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (minimum)
  • 3+ years of experience in Electronics design within a relevant industry
  • Analog hardware design, troubleshooting, DFMEA, tolerance stack up, and hands-on failure analysis
  • Digital design, including microcontroller selection, digital communication protocols, and power budget calculations
  • Circuit simulation with LTSpice or similar
  • Board level bring up and troubleshooting hands-on experience: oscilloscope, voltage and current probes, DMM, spectrum analyzer, VNA and similar equipment
  • Ability to work hybrid onsite in Towson, MD, minimum 3 days per week
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc)

Responsibilities

  • Implement wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products that satisfy end user needs in the Global Tools and Storage business unit
  • Learn product development milestones in a world-class product management system from concept through design, mass manufacturing, and full product cycle life support
  • Design of new products and platforms, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures
  • Effectively identify and communicate major technical and schedule issues to team leaders in a clear, concise, and timely manner while driving appropriate actions
