Responsibilities
- Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts for electronic circuit boards in medical devices, ensuring alignment with system requirements
- Develop, review, and execute electrical system tests using advanced equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers) to validate performance and reliability
- Identify and evaluate solutions to complex product design challenges, balancing tradeoffs at the component and sub-system levels
- Develop, create, and refine technical documentation, including schematics, design descriptions, stack-up calculations, and manufacturing test specifications
- Interface with manufacturers to define and implement manufacturing test specifications for scalable production
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to drive project success
- Build relationships and influence across engineering teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
- Deliver high-quality results with passion, energy, and a strong commitment to meeting business priorities such as process improvements, technology advancements, and product development from concept to launch
