Requirements

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Analytical Thinking techniques and tools to determine root cause of problems and create alternative solutions
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Effective Communications concepts, tools, and techniques to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas accurately
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Managing Multiple Priorities, including self-management practices to handle concurrent objectives and prioritize effectively
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Technical Excellence in a given technology and application methods to develop solutions to significant technical challenges
  • Experience reading and interpreting a variety of schematic types (ladder logic, Creo schematic)
  • Experience interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics and using them to create harnesses
  • Functional understanding of basic electrical controls (relays, switches, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of harnessing (routing practices, splicing methods, do's and don'ts)
  • Ability to troubleshoot harnesses

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next generation MW class BESS Inverter, 500kVA double conversion UPS, fuel cell inverter, DC fast chargers for battery powered Caterpillar machines
  • Meet cost, quality, and performance targets for targeted applications
  • Provide system and troubleshooting expertise for product support and field follow teams
  • Provide input to technical leaders regarding future technology development
