Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field
6+ years of hands-on experience in EDI operations and SAP integration, with deep technical knowledge of integration tools and protocols
Expertise in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), SAP integration technologies (IDoc, ALE, BAPI), and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, VAN)
Experience with EDI mapping tools, SAP ERP environments, and relevant DevOps practices for integration solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges independently
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while delivering high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in relevant industries such as retail, manufacturing, or healthcare
Familiarity with integration platforms like IBM Sterling, OpenText, Boomi, or SAP PI/PO
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting relevant to DevOps practices
Certifications such as SAP Integration Consultant, ITIL, or related DevOps credentials

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical SME for all EDI and SAP integration processes within the region, providing expert advice and support
Design, develop, and maintain complex EDI transactions and SAP integration interfaces (IDocs, ALE, BAPIs)
Collaborate with IT, supply chain, logistics, and business teams to implement and optimize EDI and SAP integration workflows
Lead the technical onboarding and enablement of new trading partners, ensuring rigorous testing and validation of EDI to SAP data exchanges
Monitor EDI and SAP integration performance; troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to data accuracy, transaction failures, and system errors
Maintain detailed documentation of EDI mappings, SAP integration configurations, partner requirements, and operational procedures
Work closely with global EDI and SAP teams to ensure regional integrations comply with global standards and best practices
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance metrics and identifying optimization opportunities
Assist with DevOps automation efforts, including CI/CD pipelines for integration components, monitoring, and incident response
