Responsibilities

  • Lead the global accounting organization, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial reporting risk management, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations (as applicable), and other statutory requirements
  • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities
  • Drive automation and modernization of accounting systems and processes
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Lead initiatives to improve working capital management and cash flow forecasting
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational scale and other strategic initiatives
  • Provide financial insights to guide business decisions
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global accounting team, with significant operations in the US and in Malaysia
