Candidates must possess a Master's or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 8-10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, developer relations, or technical partnerships. This includes 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in sequence alignment and assembly, gene prediction and functional annotation, gene expression analysis, multi-omics integration, and comparative genomics. Proven experience leading and scaling developer programs at major technology companies or life science data platform ISVs is required, along with significant technical proficiency in high-performance computing, cloud, AI/ML, and/or vertical-specific frameworks. Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and experience leading technical collaborations with engineering and product teams are essential. The ability to structure and implement complex technical engagements, negotiate requirements, and prioritize issues is also necessary.
The Senior Developer Relations Manager will serve as a trusted technical advisor and champion for the developer ecosystem in genomic platforms, driving adoption of NVIDIA's AI and computing technologies. They will accelerate critical workloads by demonstrating solutions that integrate the NVIDIA stack, and advise on technical enablement resources like sample code and demonstration pipelines for bioinformatics and genomics. Responsibilities include guiding partners and startups through onboarding, mapping and tracking the developer ecosystem for growth opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to drive developer engagement. The role involves engaging with partner engineering teams to solve technical challenges, representing partner technical needs to NVIDIA's internal teams, and influencing product roadmaps with field insights.
