Requirements
Candidates should have 8+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Senior or higher role, a strong understanding of teams in product-oriented environments and a general understanding of full stack development, significant hands-on experience in Kotlin development, an understanding of how to best structure codebases for live product experiences, experience building or scaling real-time systems, AR/VR/XR applications, or other immersive platforms, confidence managing ambiguity, prioritizing stability, and communicating tradeoffs, and understanding how to design for modular development and phased feature rollout.
Responsibilities
The Senior Developer will work with the Tech Lead and Technology Director to define and build the overall frontend framework, support other developers on the project with systems and tooling, support Tech Lead to approve PR/Merge requests, work closely with other technical teams, integrate with emerging spatial SDKs, real-time engines, and partner-based tooling, support the Technical Lead and Technology Director with technical documentation, and work on building a scalable framework for a new XR product.
