Job Title: Quantum Computing Developer Relations Lead

Position Overview

At NVIDIA, we're solving the world's most challenging problems with our unique approach to accelerated computing. We are seeking passionate technologists with quantum expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining strategic partnerships, leading collaborations, driving SDK adoption, and evangelizing the NVIDIA quantum platform with global systems integrators. Your primary focus will be engaging with customers and developers within the quantum computing ecosystem through participation in conferences, meetups, and building a network of influencers. As a DevRel, you will champion the evolving landscape of quantum computing by understanding customer needs, their technologies, and how they map to NVIDIA's internally developed libraries, tools, algorithms, and SDKs. A deep understanding of the domain is crucial for success. You will evangelize NVIDIA tools, libraries, and SDKs, providing clear communication back to product teams to address any gaps.

The Quantum Computing organization is a small, strong, and visible group both inside and outside of NVIDIA, and Quantum Information Science is an exciting area to drive strategy. We are looking for a self-starting leader to continue growing this area, possessing a rare blend of technical and relationship skills, and a passion for groundbreaking technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the quantum computing global systems integrator strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Applied Research.
  • Evangelize and directly engage with target collaborators.
  • Discover high-impact problems that NVIDIA can uniquely solve, creating new market paradigms.
  • Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market activities.
  • Host developer and customer evangelism events, including meetups, hackathons, and lectures.
  • Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field (Ph.D. or Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Extensive background in Quantum Information Science with 5 years of experience in the Quantum Computing industry.
  • Meaningful experience in a technical leadership role.
  • World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning.
  • Background in software development, with bonus points for scientific software development experience.
