Requirements

Extensive experience and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs
Extensive experience and knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions
Extensive experience and knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
Experience with building and genset codes (UL, NEC, IBC, FAS, CSA, OGS, etc.)
Extensive experience and knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production
Experience in balance of plant, engine or genset design, design of heavy structures, cooling

Responsibilities

Assist teams in the design of new products, processes, components, and systems
Develop and document functional requirements and translate into detail design documents
Participate in buy-build analysis for product components
Ensure customer technical and industry code requirements are met
Utilize 3D modeling software to create top-down product models to ensure system interactions are accounted for and controlled to produce robust package solutions
Effectively communicate with process partners and escalate issues as needed
Participate in and support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical submittals
Prepare bills of materials for teams to execute the procurement and assembly aspects of the projects
Serve as an experienced individual contributor on enclosure packaging development programs and ongoing maintenance initiatives
Direct and contribute to the concept, development, and design of complex components, subsystems, or processes
Partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams
Contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, mentor and coach team members, and broaden professional network
