Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science, with expertise in building and validating machine learning and forecasting models using Python. They should demonstrate a passion for performing advanced analytics to uncover insights and patterns, and experience with supervised and unsupervised model techniques such as random forest, gradient boosting, support vector machines, k-means, hierarchical clustering, causal models, mixture models, and advanced modeling.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will independently own and build forecasting models, collaborate closely with stakeholders across Product, Data Engineering & Analytics, and Business Strategy to identify opportunities and resolve business problems, develop cutting-edge solutions, perform advanced data analytics to influence decision makers, leverage data from diverse sources to provide insights and build new data-driven tools, partner with engineering teams to continuously improve data quality, develop machine learning-based applications using supervised and unsupervised models, develop and support models for prescriptive insights, automated decisioning, and insights, develop experiments to understand model impact and manage training pipelines, work with stakeholders to translate business problems into solvable data science projects, partner with data engineering to deploy models, brainstorm future use cases, mentor other data scientists and data analysts, connect machine learning applications to business needs, and facilitate process changes based on algorithmic solution implementation.
