Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in research/ML engineering or an applied research scientist role, with a focus on developing production-ready AI solutions. Required skills include experience with Agentic AI System Design, collaboration with MLOps and DevOps teams, proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analysis/data mining tools, experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, or Pytorch), high-performance, large-scale ML systems, language modeling with transformers, reinforcement learning, and large-scale ETL.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will design AI solutions using Python, computer vision, and generative models like LLMs and diffusion models, ensuring responsible development aligned with ethical standards. Responsibilities include building autonomous AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI, embedding AI into Humana's systems, collaborating with business teams to understand challenges and co-create solutions, and communicating AI capabilities clearly. The role also involves working with engineering and product teams to implement best practices for deploying and maintaining AI models in production, developing data science initiatives to influence strategic decisions, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and developing and maintaining complex machine learning models and algorithms for integration into production systems.
