Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Socio-economics, Data Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong statistical and logical skills are required, including experience in data cleaning, statistical modeling, sampling, and data aggregation techniques. A good understanding of consumer behavior, panel-based projections, and consumer metrics and analytics is essential. Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets is necessary, along with experience in SQL and working with queries and large-scale databases. Experience with Python or another high-level programming language is required, with a willingness to learn Python. Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills are also necessary.
The Senior Data Scientist will evaluate and improve current methodologies within the POD platform, present and communicate findings and recommendations based on rigorous research and analysis, and develop prototypes of new solutions and methodologies to address market challenges. They will also assist the technical deployment of proposed enhancements and new solutions and document findings, methodologies, and best practices comprehensively.
